Easy Healthy Turkey Chorizo Tacos

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground turkey breast
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground turkey breast, smoked paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, kosher salt, ground cumin, chili powder, paprika, cinnamon, and red pepper flakes.
  2. Using your hands, mix all the ingredients together until well-combined.
  3. Add the apple cider vinegar to the mixture and stir well to incorporate.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Once the skillet is hot, add the turkey mixture to the pan and cook, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, until the turkey is fully cooked and no longer pink, about 8-10 minutes.
  6. Serve the turkey chorizo hot and enjoy!
